Welcome!

Tell us about yourself!

Where are you?

What equipment do you have?

What do you want to do with it?

Have you found and joined a local Model Engineering Club?

By all means ask questions, you will get answers.

If you are a newbie, you can find the answers to a lot of questions by reading books.

A set of Zeus Charts will be invaluable . I still use the ones that I got in 1958!

The "bible" for years, for lathe work, has been L H Sparey "The Amateur's :Lathe"

Ian Bradley "The Amateur's Workshop" deals with workshops in more general terms, but does include some things that about setting up a lathe that Sparey does not.

Harold Hall and Stan Bray have both also written books on using a lathe

David Clarke, Dave Fenner and Neil Wyatt have written books on the mini lathe.

"The Model Engineer's Handbook"by Tubal Cain is a very good book to which you will often refer.
