I have a couple of these, I believe they’re called Fulham valves? They’re for LPG. They were bought at different times and only one of the males fits both valves. The other refuses to lock. It seems the collar - arrowed, on the new one is slightly deeper than the other. Any ideas where I may be able to get a drawing of this part to check what size it’s supposed to be? I’m a bit reluctant to just turn it down to the same size as the other one.

First check that it IS rated for LPG and NOT just air. There are many types of coupling, MOST only rated for air. Noel

They were both sold as Gas connectors from Gas supplies companies.

I thought the tem "Fulham" referred to the flexible hose connection, not the quick release feature. If they were bought at different times they might be different manufacturers. If t'were me I think I'd keep them as matched pairs.

I want to swap regulators between appliances. I’ve now ordered two from a different manufacturer to get round the problem. I would have thought these things, especially LPG fittings would be made to a common standard. Obviously not?

Probably made to a common standard, but made poorly. Happens a lot with cheap online stuff. QC is minimal.
