hello from stafford,

im more into modern classic motorbikes but im new to engineering so since you guys make things in smaller proportions im guessing the room for error is less so im hoping to pick up some good tips for when im needing to make and alter things.

Hello Rick and welcome. There are a number of m/c fans on here, as well as others who may be able to advise.

Welcome along Rick, I am more into pre-war bikes and no model making but the forum is great for any engineering questions. Do you have any machinery yet ?

Welcome to the party ! I have an enfield 500 bullet, 2006 only done 5000m. Never quite know how to describe it, it's not a repro, it's not a 50s bike, but it's old technology, you say 2006 they think modern bike, they see it they think 50s. Ah well, best wishes Noel.

enfield bullet is a 1950s bike just made in the 2000s

the engine apart from the ignition is still basically the same as it was back then.

This one has points and a carb, upto 2008 they were so. Kick start and gear change on the right. Noel.
