Never been to Norfolk before, our first visit.

One20210923_111508.jpg highlight has been a mini cruise on the broads.

The launch powered by this little beast easily handling 12 passengers

According to the helm this little compound cost £10,000

Beautiful county, must come again

Shame the old 'Queen of the Broads' is no more.

Nice wordplay ,certainly a beautiful county.

Next visit, try approaching via Theberton church ( Zepellin ), Snape , Blythburgh church, ( Cromwell used it as a stable, the doors were hit by lightning ,marks of the Devil ) , Southwold , Beccles , Belton and Burgh , Oulton Broad then on to your Norfolk Broads.

Geoff, looks like you had a good time, was this in the "Falcon" from Stalham Museum of the Broads, or another launch.

There are quite a few privately owned steam launches on the Norfolk Broads, but I have yet to track down any rallies.

Regards

Hi Brian,

Yes "Falcon" it was and a real good time. Friendly staff, very chatty and helpful.

Thanks for the tips J.H., all noted for future reference.

Geoff
