![]() 1605 forum posts 83 photos | Reading MEW301 last night I realised that the format had changed. The contributor's name is no longer boldly displayed but instead included in the synopsis of the article. The contributors for at least three articles were not so named. I found the the article on the tailstock DRO was written by Duncan Webster from the index. As for the articles on storage and safety I can only think that they came from the editorial staff. I think that the contibutor's name, ideally with a short written profile, should be displayed immediately below the title of the article. Rant over JA |

Rant over JA I agree that all contributers should have acknowledgement of their work in a very prominent place. regards |

I do hope that the new version is able to display proper maths symbols, so we won't have any further formulae using asterisks, or chemicals such as CO2, or CI which might mean cast iron or chlorine. Very confusing. Cheers, Tim PS you will note that this old-fashioned and non-up-to-date type does indeed have a difference between I in Iron, and l in linear, but only in the final version, not the type used in the Edit process.

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | Well I looked through it and just about every article has the authors name with the exception of ones by Neil and Duncan's. Looks more like Neil was tight on space so Duncan missed out rather than a blanked change of policy. |
