| 61 forum posts | I live close to Rudyard Lake, near to Leek in North Staffordshire and have been interested in model engineering, electronics, motorcycles, musical instruments and most things practical since the early '70s. My latest project, a Hurdy Gurdy (not to be confused with a barrel organ) combines a lot of these interests and has absorbed quite a lot of lockdown time. I also have a John Wilding 'castle' clock under construction, as well as other half-finished projects that need to be finished-off - I don't think I'm alone in that respect!
