Obviously for slicing something into smaller strips - the name on the side appears to be "GASO"

Anyone recognise this?

I would suggest it is for cutting leather strips like thongs or laces.

Reminds me gadget somewhat like that for aero-modellers to cut sheet balsa wood into narrow strips. I don't remember a multi-bladed one though.

It's for making leather bootlaces! The brass plate is for running along the edge of the table
