8 forum posts 2 photos | Hello, does anyone have a copy of the early Bridgeport wiring diagram they could share with me please? My machine is dated 1969, it is the J head with 2 speed motor. The machine is new to me, when I looked inside the electrical panel on the side a couple of the wires are unmarked and hanging disconnected so I'd like to find out where they are meant to go and make sure it's safe before I power it up. All of the wiring diagrams I can find online are for later 1970s machines with the larger electronics box on the side with the Erskine control unit. Thanks |

3630 forum posts 128 photos | I have two PDF versions of an older wiring diagram for a machine fitted with the large, gearbox type, X axis feed with start - stop button housing integrated into the main machine castings. Single speed motor unfortunately. If you think they might be useful PM me your E-Mail and I will send them over. As I recall matters I created the first one from a very rough photocopy around 20 - 25 years ago to help fix a friends machine. We got it going so I guess it might be about right! Some years later I had to replace a contactor and, presumably, produced an amended diagram. Revolting colours unfortunately. Something went funny during migrations between computers an programs over the years. Clive Edited By Clive Foster on 15/07/2020 13:16:26 |
