Hi,

A while back there was an article in MEW, by Peter Shaw I think, about how he reproduced a key to remove a security wheel nut. I've been through all of the past copies I can find without raiding the loft but cannot find it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Regards

Peter Cole.

Not sure if this is what you wanted. Issue 245 Marcus Bowman made a locking wheel nut using CNC

Hi Adrian,

That's it! Thanks so much. It's actually much further back than I remembered, hence I couldn't find it. It sad how the memory fades!

Regards
Peter Cole.

Guilty of many things, m'Lud, but not that. Sorry.

Having said that, I do remember the article, but didn't store a reference to it in my homemade database because:

a) I've given up on car maintenance;

b) The present car, 7 years old and going strong, doesn't use them.

I've had a skim through the MEW indexes going back to Issue 200 and haven't found it. Hope someone else can!

Edit:

Beaten to it I see! Still, the reason why I have no reference is because it's CNC, something I have no interest in.

And again for spelling!
