14 forum posts | Morning,
We are looking for a Bore Measuring Gauge for measuring the barrel of a plastic extrusion extruder. It would need to measure 50-80mm ideally and have a depth that you can measure at to be around 1 meter. We are struggling to find anything that long without paying silly money as we will only use it a couple of times a year at most.
Thanks. |

![]() 2110 forum posts 565 photos | When I had to measure wear on hydraulic cylinders we used a dial indicator type bore gauge where you set the diamiter with a micromiter and read of the difference on clock face. Mercer or Oxford make similar and we had one that would check up to 2 meter length with extensions. Oxford2.0-6.0" Dial Bore Gauge from Zoro £95.00. But you would have to add on extensions. David |
