104 forum posts 19 photos | A while ago, maybe earlier this year (could be a bit longer) a member posted a picture of a very simple but pleasing model racing car, made from odds and ends. I would like to make something similar but have been unable to find the picture. Can anyone , or indeed the maker point me in the right direction please. Thank you. Adrian. |

2444 forum posts 139 photos | Well, thank you! Wheels are black acetal with, on the one made from square brass bar, heat-blued titanium hubcaps. Axles are brass, cross-roll-pinned into the body, with brass hubs giving a thou or three endfloat on a close running fit to the wheels. If little children are involved, fix the driver in so as to prevent choke hazard - I used an M3 c/sk skt screw from underneath. If the kids are older, loctite the wheelnuts ...
