Hi all

I have been reading Alan Hearsum's article in MEW 233 & 234 from Autumn 2015 concerning a taper turning attachment for an ML7. In the article he refers to a website **LINK**

which I assume is Chris Heapy's, for drawings to fabricate the main bracket to bolt to the lathe bed. I have been unable to get this link to work. Has anyone details of how to get access to Chris's files or a copy of the drawing?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Steve

thanks for the link, I managed to get onto the website and found lots of useful information. Unfortunately although the TTA drawings were listed the pathway to them would not work. I will persist as it may be me!

regards

Dave

It’s probably not a lot of help, but ... Although Chris has not been active on this forum for quite a while; his photo albums are still here: **LINK**

Thanks Michael

I found a few shots of the TTA at the back of his Myford, I can see more or less how Chris has made the main bracket.

Dave

Hi ega,

yes, an old shot of me riding a time trial, no helmet and no disc rear wheel!

It seems that bits of Chris Heapy's website have been captured by a data gathering system called 'Wayback Machine' (Wikepedia has full details). This is where Steve F and Oldiron's links shown above direct you.Whether the missing bits will come to light remains to be seen.

Cheers

Dave
