A photo-log of a very interesting loco build

2147 forum posts 222 photos | I have long been an admirer of Kozo Hiraoka and his books that describe building various American logging (mostly) engines in 3/4" scale. Even though I don't build in that scale myself, there is much within them of interest to any model locomotive engineer - and the drawings and descriptions of his engine designs are in a league of their own in my view. I was therefore very pleased to come across an extensive photo-log of a G1 build of Kozos' 'New Shay' that is full of interesting detail and information to any 'Hiraoka' enthusiast. Ed Hume (the loco builder) is clearly a very talented engineer and has made an excellent record of his fine work. I thought others might enjoy looking through it too. https://www.flickr.com/photos/edhume3/albums/72157614192042835/page1 Regards, IanT Edited By JasonB on 22/12/2018 06:56:17 |
