My name is David Gregg I live in Northern Ireland I have been involved in engineering for over 50 years I served an apprenticeship as a turner with GEC steam turbines I have worked on some very large machines after leaving GEC l worked as an instructor and then the workshop manager in an agricultural college In my home workshop I now run a DSG and a Harrison m300 lathe as well as an Ajax mill ,an Arboga mill/drill also a Jones &.Shipman 540!. I still do odd jobs for local farmers ,parts for people restoring old vehicles/machinery . My main interest is old vehicles and working on larger projects

Welcome David, I am just home from three weeks in Northern Ireland (we go 2 or 3 times a year to see wife's family)

I served my time at GEC in Birmingham in the plastic moulding division toolroom.

Welcome to the forum. It's a nice collection of machinery you have there in your workshop by the sound of it. Plenty of old car and bike restorers on here so you will be in good company.
