452 forum posts 35 photos | I've only heard Sulzer engines on video clips, but they sound pretty similar to English Electric diesels to my untrained ear, both being turbocharged 4-strokes. Another option would be the american ALCO diesels which should have readily available sound cards for use in model railway loco sound systems, but not sure if they will suit your needs.

222 forum posts 48 photos | Legomanbiffo has sounds for various peaks in 4mm scale. I do not know though if they can be supplied on a system suitable for 5" gauge. Charlie Petty of DC Kits retails them. Give him a ring he is very helpful and may be able to point you in the right direction. Dave |
