Nut for Slotter

Hi all i have a bridgeport slotting head the main shaft bolt is there that holds it to the machine but no nut i am gouing to make one as a serch of google has brought nothing my question is the thread is 0.872 and 14 tpi does anyone know if it is unc or BSF etc? Regards Bob |

![]() 7061 forum posts 719 photos | Just had a closer look at mine. It's not a nut as such. More of a threaded bush that fits in the yoke and is stopped from rotating by a dowel in the smaller hole shown. Andrew |
