![]() 450 forum posts 127 photos | I had downloaded the latest ME issue yesterday via Pocketmags app on my PC. 2 have the ISP limit set to be able to do so 3 can afford the time out of the shed or away from family etc to do so. In this day and age of digital downloads this proves once again these magazines need to be in PDF where we have control over what we pay highly for.Maybe its time the sponsor were notified of how much this is a total waste of OUR $$$$$$$.

![]() 2785 forum posts 87 photos | +1. It just encourages downloading the pirated PDFs which can be found all over the internet I used to subscribe to both ME and MEW for paper copies. When the digital archive appeared I threw out a lot of my old paper copies as the digital version took up less shelf space. Then access became digital subscription only. I now only have a digital subscription to MEW as it is of most interest so I no longer have access to the old MEs I have paid for Russell Edited to correct for cat walking over the keyboard! ![]() 450 forum posts 127 photos | The lovely Kate who oversees all and runs in the background out of sight has emailed and requested that anyone who has updated their App's on any device to please contact her. Hi Ray, The MyTime Media Apps are set up by the same company as the PocketMags app so it would make sense that if you have encountered problems with one that you have had the same problem with the other. What device is it that you are using the apps on? I have enquired again with them on why the app would ask you to uninstall as this seems very strange (according to my IT contact). I have also asked for some customer care reporting to identify how wide spread this issue is, as I have not had any other complaints of this nature escalated to me. You mentioned that you are aware of other subs with the same problem, is there a specific forum thread in which other forum users have commented on this, or could you ask these people to contact me please? The more cases that I have of problems, the stronger the case I have for a change of provider or an alternative solution. Our magazines are indeed hosted via Magzter as well, although subscribing this way does not enable access to the archive. It is also the same model as Pocketmags I believe, as it downloads to their reader, much the same as Pocketmags. Their customer care is very much separate to ours as they are essentially just a third party reseller, so I am not aware of whether their updates have caused any problems for readers. I am working on an alternative solution to enable you to access to the issues without these ongoing issues, as well as trying to resolve the problems with our app supplier; I can assure you, the company is not looking to steal anything from subscribers; this is simply a case of a third party's technology letting us down. Regarding the Archive problems, I have asked my IT contact if he has any idea why your issues are not loading. Do you know which issues specifically you were having trouble with? Kind regards, Kate) Kate Hall's contact if you are having trouble with the App's and accessing the magazines on your device already downloaded (NOT THE FORUM ARCHIVES) kate.hall@mytimemedia.com |
