8 forum posts 1 photos | Hi All,having just joined the Forum,I am finding my way around the site, . I am a retired Fitter/Turner, Aged 75 yrs. I am in the process of putting together a small workshop, I have an old Harrison Lathe L5, but would like a small bench milling machine, as an apprentice I spent a lot of time on a early 1960,s EMCO series 3000 Mill,. It doesn,t need to be in good condition as I was involved in maintenance previously, as long as it is reasonably priced,. Thankyou, Pete. |

Are you hoping to do some model making when your workshop is sorted? and, is so, what sort of thing grabs your attention? Brian |

8 forum posts 1 photos | Hi Neil, "Thanks" for the welcome message, I feel sure I will eventually find the vertical mill that will suit me and my budget, ideally the little Emco, but there are plenty of other variety,s of these older 3-4 speed belt driven mills around, but they seem scarce here in Cornwall, so we live in hopes,. Neil I think I should have called myself Pete.F or something similar in the initial account set - up other than Peter FERNIE 1 or is that what I view only, any help along the way will be appreciated |
