193 forum posts 56 photos	Hi Guys I have a 5" Tich and the cylinders are all made from brass what liners do I need cast iron , s / steel the pistons have 3 groves with 4mm PTFE rings advice please thanks Kevin

2 forum posts	Cast Iron is the best material for cylinder liners, and pistons should also be cast iron. You can buy Meehanite bar here. https://www.nogginend.com/product/Cast-Iron-Grade-250-Meehanite-Round-Bar Meehanite is a very good grade of cast iron for the purpose.

5307 forum posts 83 photos	depends how much running it is going to get. You've still got brass valve face no matter what cylinder liner, I'd use a bit of bronze hollow bar and avoid the rust problems always present with CI
