2 forum posts | Cast Iron is the best material for cylinder liners, and pistons should also be cast iron. You can buy Meehanite bar here. https://www.nogginend.com/product/Cast-Iron-Grade-250-Meehanite-Round-Bar Meehanite is a very good grade of cast iron for the purpose. |

5307 forum posts 83 photos | depends how much running it is going to get. You've still got brass valve face no matter what cylinder liner, I'd use a bit of bronze hollow bar and avoid the rust problems always present with CI |
