Drive belt supplier

Hi all.

I found a good supplier of flat drive belt material and ordered a belt for my S&B model L lathe.
Delivered one day later and ready prepared with ends skived and glue ready to fit.
Also included a note saying thanks for your business, a coaster and a tea bag for having a nice cuppa while the glue sets.
Fabulous customer service and advice.

Now that,s what I call "Good Service",nice touch about the teabag! I like that !

This is the kind of thing which restores your faith in suppliers. I have come across a few like that in my time,not too many,I regret to say. Still,they did thank you for your business,and the teabag was a nice touch !

Have never used flat belts myself but it,s nice to know where to go for them.Enjoy your lathe.

I should have said, they do all types of drive belt not just flat belts, also consumables and drive parts.

Cost for two 1.8m long 25mm belts plus adhesive and postage £35.00

I get spares for my grass tractor from a company in Germany, and they always send me a bag of Gummi-bears - they help keep my teeth in when I have to drive the tractor

I too highly recommend SPEL-GATE. placed an order yesterday for a 1140mm x 6mm diam poly round belt , £6 inclusive of postage and VAT and the ends jointed. No tea bag but a free pen. Arrived the morning.

I get all my belts from Spel-gate, mainly because they are excellent, and just round the corner on my local industrial estate in Driffield!!
