2 forum posts | I am looking for suggestions on making a taper reamer for woodworking. The reamer needs to go up to 35mm with a 6deg taper. Any advice on the best way to achieve this would be appreciated. I also want to qualify to use the classifieds Phil |

This method is often used for cutting tapers in steam fittings though you will get some tearing in wood depending on grain direction. Could be cleaned up with abrasive paper wrapped around a similar tapered plug. |
