The Smokebox Gap Piece.

102 forum posts 3 photos	I have made the Gap piece, but I cannot find which is the front and which the rear !!. At one end there is a 3/8" overlap, and at the other it is 1/4" . I need t know, as I cannot proceed with marking out the the Rilling rrig. in that there is 1/8" at front, and 1/4" qat tghe rear face. Alas I have been in hospital for a while, but am now bacck and active (slowly !!) I have almost completed the boiler, and will put photos up,when it is done. 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles	The shorter butt strap that goes inside the gap piece should be set back 1/4" from the front of the smokebox and 3/8" from the rear. If you have the box read the last line of page 89 and first of page 91 J

Just the info I needed.It just show how stupid I am becoming, as I had highlighted page 89 and 91, but was looking at he plans and not the bible. Hopefully I can now make more progress.
