10 forum posts 22 photos | hey guys in need of some help, i recently bought an induma s-1 milling machine and i have just got around to reassembling it, i slide the knee down the ways and prepared to turn the key as it engaged and to my surprise it simply slide straight through the thread. as i dont have any paperwork with it i dont know if there is something missing or it is damaged??? anyone know anything about them? peter |

![]() 2110 forum posts 565 photos | Hi Peter I know nothing about nothing about this make but in the past I came across a Bridgeport with a similar symptom. It had worn through the bronze thread in the nut and needed to be replaced, just cut one on the lathe copying the basic dimensions from the old one and cut the internal thread. It needs to be a little loose in this position as it only holds the weight. David
