I think you will have to expand on 'it was no good'

Why was it no good?

the one i bought for my mini lathe 7 x14 chinese one was not from rdg and the tools did not fit in the holder had to file them down and they was not very secure, had a lot of movement nothing seemed to sit flush . I i was turning 8mm stainless 316 so probably pushing the mini lathe to its limits .Hence why i sold it now and have a much larger myford super 7 which i love to use

Recently purchased an RDG quick change toolpost which is made to fit Myford , fitted it to my Warco BV 20 lathe, not strait forward as the mounting hole is 11.2 MM and needed to fit 12 MM on my lathe, to cut a long story short removing the 0.8 MM from the mounting location was a challenge as the mounting block is hardened ground alloy steel. Objective was achieved and the toolpost fits on my lathe a treat, to say I am pleased with it is an understatement, what a joy to use, all my 12 MM tooling fits the tool holders. I would endorse the RDG product and as usual no connection with company only a very satisfied customer.

I bought the RDG dickson type QCTP for the boxford, my lathe is a Chester DB10 so I had to modify the compound slide, now fitted I love it, I was worried about repeat accuracy but it seems to be really good, wouldn't be without it now.
