I can't help with the mini-lathe decision as I had to downsize to a Boxford but there are plenty of people on here who will be able to advise. All the best with whatever you choose. Are you thinking of modelling with it and if so, what sort of thing? Brian |

1081 forum posts 39 photos | Plenty of others have questioned the same on here. It depends a lot on your background. I worked in engineering all my working life as a machine tool designer and still bought a Chinese lathe and mill. Just used them as a basic machine to improve at little cost rather than payout for a bigger machine that I couldn't house with more expensive tooling. |
