![]() 608 forum posts 7 photos | Is the mk2 fixed head (none quill type) worth £400 ,seller says it's in good condition . Interested to hear your thoughts. .. The fixed head gives a bit more room ,so to plunge an endmill the knee would have be used . Sean |

![]() 92 forum posts 34 photos | If it's the one on that well known site it is now at £300. Still a bit stiff for a Mk2 in my opinion. It also has a very nasty paint job! Note also that there is no pully or belt tensioner shown.

Try bidding him for the 2A knee raiser and the head for £280, you only need to swap your knee spur gear onto the 2a shaft and bolt in to the back of your mast. Would you pay £380 plus what your 2 cost for a complete centec? |

![]() 608 forum posts 7 photos | The guy has made me an offer still don't think it's worth it . I think what I'm in the middle of making for the knee adjustment will suit my needs . I only paid ?60 for the mill it would be easy for it to turn it into a money pit if was to chase all the parts to get the vertical head up and running . The seller has the pulley and tensioner for the head . Sean Edited By sean logie on 06/09/2017 13:28:26 Edited By sean logie on 06/09/2017 13:28:41 Edited By sean logie on 06/09/2017 13:28:57 |
