Arboga E830 Drill

Wanting a bigger, more robust pillar drill I purchased an Arboga E830.

I looked at it thinking that, as the motor was mounted on the top of the drill, it would be easy to convert from three to single phase to suit my workshop electrics. Sadly this was not to be the case as when I removed the motor I found it had a shaft about 10" long with two gears on the end. Not to be put off by this I ended up lengthening the shaft on the other end of the motor and added a belt drive with a single phase motor piggy backed on the side of the main motor. I now have a serious 2.5 HP drill (with power feed!), an MT4 spindle and speeds from 80 to 890 rpm.

The problem that I have is finding a manual for the machine, I can buy one from Lathes.co.uk but they want £39 - this is more than a quarter of what I paid for the machine.

Does anyone have a copy of the manual for this machine?

Thor, Many thanks for your prompt response.

Unfortunately the link you have provided is for the ER830, this is the radial arm version of the drill that I have and many of the features are different because the controls have all been moved to the left hand side of the drill (I had already found this drawing in my search). Thank you for trying.

How about sending the service department an email at arbogamachinery if they can provide a parts diagram?
