I am a new member to this site. I live in the USA and am interested in clocks and machines in general. I have a Rockwell mill with a B/Port head and also a Hardinge mill. I am working on a Schaublin Model 102 lathe and have just posted a wanted ad for a screw operated tailstock which I need. I have been working on and off building the WR Smith Lyre Skeleton Clock. I would like to hear from anyone who has made this clock as I have some questions I need help with. Thank you, Bob

Hello Bob,

Welcome to the forum; I'm not sure I have come across that clock before. It may be a bit scarce on the UK side of the pond?

Bob,

I regret that the Lyre Skeleton Clock is beyond my skill level, and not really to my taste, but I certainly admire W.R. Smith' work, and wish you well with it.
