my WM18 mill is ready for delivery, problem is they are out of stock of the stands and it's going to be at least 2 weeks before any more come into stock.

However they have offers a stand that has a couple of dints at half price. They took some photos but they were not very good and it's hard to see the dents.

So, I was wondering if anyone who lives near to Warco could pop in tomorrow and have a look at the stand for me?

2 dints (I associate dints as only small dents) for £85? Unless in an area which may affect operation, I would go for it. Even barter for a bit better deal, as you are having a new shiny machine atop it! After all they have made an offer which may still be much in their favour.

How long before you might give it a dint, or two, extra?

I agree, however the photos were crap and made it look like a huge dent, so I am trading to get clarification plus better photos. This has taken, so far, over a day to sort

I would ask Warco for some better photos and explain why. After all , they have already sold you tonnes of money's worth.

And every model engineer still buying stuff is worth looking after
