![]() 1808 forum posts 744 photos | . I have been offered a (seemingly) VGC 240v Meddings pedistal drill for £100 Bargain, get your wallet out pronto I hear you all cry.! But is this too good to be true.? - Reason I ask is as I said it's in really very nice condition but the motor on it has Chinese symbol writing upon it. (this makes me unsure) It looks to be the original motor as the paint is a match between the main machine and the motor. There is a Meddings lable on the drill but could it be a clone fake.? - I know Meddings is a highly respected make. But never having seen a Meddings in the flesh before I would not know the difference. Cheers, Nick |

![]() 6956 forum posts 229 photos | Lots of pictures on the web to give you an idea. Mostly made with 3 phase for industry so likely to have had a cheap import single phase motor put on and painted at the same time if it was 'restored'. |
