Dickson Style toolpost has arrived from lynham Engineering laugh One query on assembly.... the collars, I assume they fit top and bottom to give a good fit against the myford toolpost bolt? https://goo.gl/images/XZ6eYV

Um this is for a Boxford lathe and does not say Myford .

Yes the collars should fit top and bottom the big one with step on top and the other in bottom. If the hole in the collars is wrong you may need to make new collars or make hole larger. You also so be aware what size tool post this is and how it fits on your lathe as the tool height needs to work with its adjustment to place it just below centre. Some bigger tool posts cannot do this with certain size tools. I have not got this far with my lathe but have been looking into it .

Lynam Engineering persist in using "Boxford" in their description despite being told that their toolposts are not Boxford size (though they could of course be packed up).

These are the normal fit for Myford and others with 3½" centre height.

The reason for not putting myford in the description is due to the fact that they received complaints, presumably from myford, for using the name myford. In regards to height I've measured it and the adjustment within the toolpost and the tangential tool holder/ Diamond tool are with the adjustment range to get it on centre

More of a threat than a complaint,

I remember the fiasco just after the new owners bought Myford, they were having eBay remove any listing using the word Myford, including genuine Myford parts and parts and accessories specifically for Myford machines.
