Brass Tube

Seeking 3/8" O/D brass tube with a 1/16" (or 0.065" wall diameter.

The usual suspects only seem to stock 0.035" wall tube.

Sadly google gets confused by the fractions as most sites stock 3/8" AND 1/4" OD tube, but with thin walls.

I found one source in the US! There must be a UK source as I have a small piece in my workshop.

Ideally as a cheap (it doesn't need to be super long lasting) alternative to oilite bushes.

There are tubes designed to fit into one another - probably what you were finding. If you soldered one inside another using whitemetal if it wore through the bearing properties would improve. laugh

Might get better results if you specify wall thickness devil
