19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles	Seeking 3/8" O/D brass tube with a 1/16" (or 0.065" wall diameter. The usual suspects only seem to stock 0.035" wall tube. Sadly google gets confused by the fractions as most sites stock 3/8" AND 1/4" OD tube, but with thin walls. I found one source in the US! There must be a UK source as I have a small piece in my workshop. Ideally as a cheap (it doesn't need to be super long lasting) alternative to oilite bushes. Neil

6956 forum posts 229 photos	There are tubes designed to fit into one another - probably what you were finding. If you soldered one inside another using whitemetal if it wore through the bearing properties would improve.
