Details of where to obtain please.

They are quieter compared with wire wheels on the L-grinder.

What are these called?

Toolstation website , powertool accessories, wire abrasives ... bottom of that page ..I bought the big aggressive looking one (its not !) and was disappointed ,but the others like yours were ok

I have seen them made in pink rubbery stuff  , rather than nylon ..even quieter , and angle grinder bristle discs from 3m are good too .

Just know them as "Nylon Filament" brushes. They have abrasive grit embedded in the nylon filaments.

They are non-sparking, unlike wire wheels.

Google 'nylon filament brush' will get you a lot of hits.

Thanks guys!

Brain was on strike when trying to think of words to use to describe them when doing an Internet search.

Geoff - Forum to the rescue once again yes
