Understanding Indexing/dividing Plates

51 forum posts 2 photos | Hi i wonder if any one knows of a videos out there regarding indexing or dividing plates. I recently got a vertex rotary table and it came with dividing plates. I would love to learn how to use them but the instructions in warcos manual are poor at best. I learn best watching over ready anyway. Hope some one can help

These three channels do videos on dividing and gear cutting - thatlazymachinists would be my first choice , his videos are excellent ! The workshop practice series of books Has a title " dividing " .

7517 forum posts 20 photos | I am surprised. I went to goggle video and keyed in 'Using index plate on rotary table'. First two hits were u-toob demos making seven flats. Explained how and gave clear reasons why. I dare to say there wrre more of similar ilk, had I looked further than those first two. |
