![]() 1860 forum posts 121 photos | I need two left hand and two right hand cylinder drain cocks, 5/16x32 thread. Thing is I want them with handles and not linkage points (they are for my 7 1/4 Invicta). Stuart sell nice ones but not in this thread size and I don't want to sleeve the hole as the DC which would fit would be very small. Any ideas please? |

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | Price might make you think again, RA Baker do that size thread but with levers and they are £25 a pop so you would be looking in the region of £100 for a set if you could find them. I can only think of Stuarts who do the handle type. Best thing to do is when you machine the taper on the spindles is to also machine a reamer or D bit at the same topslide setting which should give you a good matching taper that needs very little lapping. These ones I did for the Tidman seem to seal OK Used the same method for teh Fowler ones Good write up on making teh Stuart type over on MEM |
