Particularly liked the texture on the beakers, I did something similar to a draw front hand carving the texture with a small gouge - a lot of work for a downstairs loo vanity unit! That dep red enamel was also gorgeous the way the subtle pattern radiated outwards Edited By JasonB on 20/06/2016 21:04:15 |

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | Talking of Damascus Knives has anyone been watching "forged in fire" which goes out on a Thursday evening on History channel. 4 Bladesmiths compete to make a knife in the studio , after two have been eliminated the remaining pair get a week to make a weapon in their own workshop, winner gets $10K |

![]() 1285 forum posts 353 photos | I am also very grateful to Michael G for his link as missed the programme when originally broadcast. I would have to say probably the most interesting 30 minutes of BBC in many many years. Myford lathe, hand engraving gold etc. Wonderful! Is there a 'niche' market us model engineers can jump on? Cheers, Julian |
