1504 forum posts 142 photos | The wiring diagram shown in the Boxford manual, for Dewhurst switches, is the standard Dewhurst wiring as shown by Myford etc and issued with the switch when new. Connected through a terminal block. As here: |

2878 forum posts 248 photos | What most of these diagrams omit is an earth connection to the lathe bed itself. It is all too easy to ignore this and should a lead lamp, angle poise etc etc 'crash' onto the lathe, the lathe becomes live, your fingers are on the topside handle and suddenly you are the connection to earth!! Hmmm! |

143 forum posts 3 photos | Hi guys my motor is a gryphon don't know if this the original my problem is now I don't know what terminal is what there are 6 terminals only 4 are used so I don't know what is a1 a2 etc I can't see any markings HELP |
