Hi,

Joined the forum a few days ago and didn't notice this topic before jumping in and asking a question on another one... Sorry!

In my garage is a noisy Colchester Master 2500, a Boxford AUD (5" ), a Harrison Universal Mill with a clutch fault and a Bridgeport clone (Semco LC1-1/2VS) which I recently rebuilt the head on to cure some horrible noises. It's pretty full in there...

I'm using these things to very very slowly build a 3" scale Fowler A7 traction engine from the MJ Engineering castings / drawings / book. I try to keep a build diary up to date on my website at www.jez-nikki.com.

Cheers!

Jez.

Hi Jez,

Welcome to the forum; I thought I recognized your name in the other thread. Workshops are only crowded if you have to move sideways between the machine tools. smile

Of course the real question is: what are you going to show at the next SCMTEG meeting?

Hi Andrew - not quite having to crab my way through the workshop yet, but it's not far off! A hind wheel might make an appearance - you never know...

Hi Bernard - too many tools / not enough space seems to be a universal problem for types like us!

Cheers,

Jez.

I'm working on my wheels at the moment - it'll be interesting to see which of us turns up with same. smile
