I thought you might like to see this for your machine lighting. So good that I bought two more....

The lamp has 12 LEDs, and is intended to run from a low voltage USB port, (and comes with a USB type cable) but I plugged it into a phone charger in the wall socket. It comes with a 1.5 metre cable and a very strong clip which I have fitted to the back panel of the lathe. The bendy flexible arm stays where you put it. The light is plenty bright!

Cost £11.99 from Ebay with free delivery.

That looks a nice bit of kit, you can never have enough light. I recently fitted a T4 (think under kitchen cupboard) strip light in the lip on the lathe splash back, one of your style will enhance the machine light which is always in the wrong place.

I might get two of those for my miller as it's more difficult to light than the lathe. I like this on the lathe, From Ikea.

It comes with 2 bases. One that clips on and another for wall mounting. It gives a good spread of light.

blushThings are looking a little tidier around the lathe now but more to do. I bought another 8 draws last weekend and am arranging for them to go in the cupboards under the lathe. Another week and I may be able to use it.

I've got an LED light on my wood turning lathe and although it works well enough I don't like the quality of light it gives compared to the halogen lamp on my mill.
