![]() 1779 forum posts 1 photos | I had to saw some nickel silver sheet today, with a piercing saw. It seemed very hard on the blade - as though the saw kerf was being rubbed away. As a result, turning the blade to follow a design became impossible, and the smallest radius I could manage was about 4mm, one side, 10mm the other. The teeth had an obvious shine on the points after about 10mm of cut. The blade are Bahco, and lube with cutting oil or beeswax seemed to make little difference. Is this usual? Regards, Tim |
