![]() 7881 forum posts 397 photos | You could probably get away with the budget bearings in this application. The bearings only come into use while the clutch is in the disengaged position. There is no load or relative rotation on the bearings when the clutch is engaged and the countershaft is turning, ie the vast majority of the time. Certainly worth a try at the price difference if your budget is tight. Otherwise, the 12-pound ones linked to above should be fine. Japanese bearings are among the world's best.
