Hello my name is David Stephenson I live in East Yorkshire , I am not engineer trained but have long term interests in all things mechanical. As a retired farmer I have seen many strange and rather wonderful machines. Motor car wise I own a self built Pembleton trike Citroen 2cv and Mazda mx5. Three lathes one wood turning, a very old screw cutting metal lathe and the lovely Myford /Drummond M type. We also have gas,mig and stick welding gear plus a good range of wood work tools. My aim at present is to fit a new three jaw chuck to the Drummond lathe also I need a face plate which is missing.

Welcome John,

Please find time to put the detail in your Public Profile as well so that when/if at a later date you ask for more specific help/information we can "look you up" to see where you are.

I'm puzzled as to why you're "John Stephenson 3" instead of "David Stephenson 1" ? I think one "John Steph(v)enson" is plenty enough for any forumcheeky

And thumbs up on the MX5 - I have a year 2000 Mk 2, wouldn't be without it yes
