2276 forum posts 801 photos | I use a 100mm machine vice on my SX3. Sometimes wish it was bigger but good for most jobs. Also have a 50mm toolmakers vice for smaller precision work. A 125mm wide vice would also fit but would not go any bigger. Paul. |

![]() 1766 forum posts 46 photos | Hi Mark, I agree with Paul, I use a 100mm vice on my milling machine, it covers most of the work I do. A bigger vice may be handy for some jobs, for these occasions you can make a two piece vice as described on Harold Hall's website. You can buy two piece vices from Chronos, scroll down this page.
