It seems that I am not the only one that has /is having probs with collet run out, presently attempting to resolve run out issue with supplier of my 'new' collet chuck. George. 750 forum posts 37 photos | I have ER40, ER30, ER25, ER20, ER16 and ER11 collet chucks and collet sets and don't have run out issues, having said that I've never hunted for the cheapest possible collets or chucks and generally deal with suppliers with a good reputation. |

750 forum posts 37 photos | An undersized nose ring groove is common in scrap sets of ER collets, if fitting the nut closes the collet at all either the nut or the collet is of too poor a quality to continue mucking about with. Identify the offending item and bin it. EOS.
