Belgium being the Arsenal of Europe will also get involved as the regulations are tightened in view of recent events. I cannot see this affecting anyone intent on harm as they bring their own in to a country. Recently here in Medway they caught people with a boat bring in a multiple number of auto weapons and ammo. having it under surveilance as it travelled up the river to a mooring near Rochester. Unfortunately it is the legal owners of firearms who get caught up in the aftermath of all this, but it's not our fault.. We get sanctioned just by being legal. Clive |

We tried to get the guns registered, but they said it was too hard, shotguns were never registered, only rifles, pistols are, and were generally illegal except for special permits. Some of our Military Vehicles club guys have de-activated BREN Guns, replica 30 cal , and .5 machine guns, a 40 mm Bofors (fires blanks), and a 25 pounder (fires blanks), They also have some active heavy machine guns, some WW2 German, others WW2 British, and American, these have been used at such outings as Wings Over Wanaka, along with aerial attacks with sound effects from the aircraft, and air explosions of petrol vapour.
