The Avatar has to be approved in case we try and sneak on a picture of a lady prettier than Diane - as if!

Creep creep grovel grovel, your 'umble servant.

Is this back on thread - who knows - who cares?

Went to see Budgie at Nottingham years ago and couldn't hear properly for a week after crying

Hi, well I used to listen to the likes of the Groundhogs, Black Sabbath and Hawkwind. Seen Hawkwind a time or two, but I've never been a true fanatic of Heavy Metal just a selective listener. Bad Company was another band that I used to listen to, but not sure if they were classed as Heavy Metal. I've still got albums by this lot, but they are all on vinyl, so haven't listened to them in a long while.

Regards Nick.

My brother knows Burke Shelley's son; Burke got a grandchild a little while ago. Never actually seen Budgie though - only the copycat Canadians Rush

I could fill this thread with tales of bands I saw in my younger daze - I was in the audience at Hammersmith Odeon on New Year's Eve 1982 when Black Sabbath recorded Live Evil

My Daughter bought me '13' as an early Father's day present but I'm still two albums short of the full Sabbath set!
