This was asked in another thread and David thought about 10 issues. I said this seemed very conservative given the amount of advice for "beginners" that it contains.
 
If the author is assuming people following this have not used basic hand tools its going to need a lot written about turning, milling, riviting and boiler making. Not to mention a page dedicated to answering all the queries raised on the first drawing

It was said a while back that the next part of this series would appear in issue 4408 once there had been time to check it over. There is no mention of it in issue 4407 as coming in the next issue. Can we be given some idea when it will appear please? There are a number of us who are still considering starting this project, but will not do so until we have seen enough to check it all out.
