1074 forum posts 290 photos | Don't worry about using washing up liquid as a degreaser - it's common practise to add a drop or two of it when mixing the flux powder with water; it improves the "wetability" of the paste.

![]() 4318 forum posts 291 photos 1 articles | I agree with Mike W. I made a perfect 1/4" by 1" area of joint today, preparation was just a wipe over with tissue to clear off any swarf and gross oil contamination. Used plenty of easyflo flux. Neil |
