![]() 1688 forum posts 16 photos | Mc, You’re not alone in your thoughts, the problem with the availability of international travel is that a deadly virus can become apparent in a far flung country and within hours passengers from there have dispersed worldwide, and authorities are slow to react, our own government is a prime example. We can only hope that the China Covid crisis is not as serious as some have forecast. Dave W |

334 forum posts 1 photos | If visitors from overseas were monitored and quarantined, it would reduce the opportunity for the Covid to spread. Telling people to self-isolate is a waste of time. A better solution would be to ban all international travel completely but some people would complain. The Government seems more interested in business than people. MC

The Government seems more interested in business than people. MC I reckon they've all decided that the lesser evil is to get on with it now, just like the last 100,000 years of evolution People can always choose to self-isolate |

Seems to me that being locked up together would be the best way pass things on to one another.
If there were a problem with 'foreigners' coming here, then I'm sure the Government wouldn't be picking them up in the English Channel and housing them in hotels all around the UK - would they? After all, we know they "follow the science".
