I knew many that did a great deal of physical exercises when younger who are now with joint disorders in later life. Myself had a complete left knee joint replaced in 2008 it was marvellous pain relief after an accident in 1968.that caused problem. Two days in hospital then back to metal munching. |

Neck, shoulder, back, knee were all results of 2 rear end RTAs in 1975 and 2000 (neck and shoulder) and mishaps at work in the late ‘70s/early ‘80s. Joint problems probably not helped by rugby, bale pitching, lifting/carrying heavy items, etc in my younger years. But nowadays the knee (and likely shoulder) pain is definitely exacerbated, at times, by the statins. Demonstrated beyond doubt over, the last 5 years. |

![]() 6137 forum posts 893 photos | Mad weather out there just now, going to minus 7 tonight... Anyway, an unexpected update on ra knee The sitting on a table system worked great up to a point, the knee fixed in the middle but not the front end so I was still hobbling about Engineering logic came to the rescue, if you look at the joint, the front is at the highest point, so the lubrication has to travel uphill, against gravity, so flip the target around and put it at the bottom of the hill So now I lie face down on the bed and do 50 at a time about 6 times a day Any more than that can induce cramp in the back of your leg, which is a real hoot when your knee injury won't let you straighten your leg out Nearly fixed now and getting better every day |
